Röko acquires a majority of Topa Bathroom Products
Cofion advised MKB Fonds on the sale of its majority stake in Topa Bathroom Products (‘Topa’) to Röko AB, a Swedish listed investment company.
Founded in 2007, Topa has evolved from a trading company into a leading Benelux bathroom brand under its Brauer label, offering a fully coordinated bathroom concept including faucets, furniture, mirrors, showers, and accessories. With annual revenues of €20 million and 31 employees, Topa has built a strong position in the “affordable luxury” segment.
Since acquiring its stake in 2022, MKB Fonds supported significant operational improvements and commercial initiatives, enabling Topa to double its customer base, grow revenues substantially, and improve margins. Röko’s acquisition of an 85% stake positions Topa for its next phase of growth, with management retaining 15% ownership to drive the business forward.
