Cofion advised the owners of RNF Group on its sale to HVEG Fashion Group (HVEG), a leading European fashion company. The acquisition strengthens HVEG’s portfolio of brands, licenses, and private labels, reinforcing its position in the international fashion industry.

RNF Group, known for its flagship brand Mexx, is a prominent player in the footwear and apparel markets, also managing brands such as Fred de la Bretoniere and Shabbies Amsterdam, along with licenses including Umbro (Benelux) and Pantofola d’Oro (Benelux & DACH).

The acquisition aligns seamlessly with HVEG’s growth strategy, which focuses on combining private labels, brands, and licenses to create a diversified fashion platform. Following the acquisitions of RNF and W Fashion Group, HVEG expects combined revenues of approximately €315 million and a workforce of around 600 employees. RNF will continue to operate as an independent business unit within HVEG, leveraging the group’s expertise while maintaining its market identity.
